DARIO MOSCHETTA – HEAD
Dario Moschetta blends strength and sensitivity.
An Italian artist born in 1973 in a small town in the province of Treviso, he is able to combine painting, drawing and collage in a unique and personal style.
From an early age he showed a strong inclination for drawing, which led him to find his own space in contemporary art. His works have been shown in numerous international exhibitions, including The Other Art Fair in London and Red Dot Art Fair in Miami.
Moschetta's statue, depicted on canvas with mixed media-acrylic, spray, stencil and glue-takes shape through a skillful use of light. The chiaroscuro contrasts evoke the drama of Caravaggio, while an explosion of intense, original glow gives the figure a sense of movement, transforming matter into visual energy.
