In SACRO AMORE 2, Gianpiero D'Alessandro revisits the powerful subject of the first version, rendering it in an entirely new chromatic palette, charged with energy and visual suggestion. The artwork is set against a vivid lilac background, upon which the brilliant yellow heart stands out, encircled by a crown in shades of light blue and turquoise. The flames shift towards a bright magenta pink with internal blue strokes and chalky orange outlines, while the embroidered patch is dyed a contrasting vivid red.
