In Sacred Water, Luca Bellandi develops one of the central themes of his research: water as a symbolic space, a place of desire, offering, and transformation.
Koi fish, a recurring subject in his work, swim in a circular composition that recalls the continuous, ritualistic movement of votive fountains. The scattered coins and small notes evoke collective gestures of hope and trust, without ever becoming anecdotal.
The painting remains free, layered, with a constant balance between figuration and abstraction. The work does not depict a real scene, but a mental and spiritual dimension, consistent with Bellandi's vision, where the sacred and the everyday coexist in the same flow.
