In Rhyno Petrol Company, Bombardieri mette in scena un’immagine potente: un rinoceronte immobilizzato sopra una pila di fusti colorati, stretto da corde che ne contengono il peso e la libertà. La scena è volutamente paradossale e disturbante: un animale imponente, simbolo di forza e sopravvivenza, è costretto in una condizione innaturale che richiama immediatamente il rapporto problematico tra natura e industria. I barili, iconici simboli dell’estrazione petrolifera, diventano qui una base instabile e artificiale; il loro colore acceso contrasta con il corpo grigio e realistico dell’animale, amplificando la tensione visiva.
